Ice and Frost

There is nothing like those wintry beauties, ice and frost. They have a remarkable ability to alert us to the brightness of colour…

…cause brittle tree branches to stand out stark against the light…

…and make a simple bridge a storyland.

Then the mist comes down, and things appear a bit more ghostly…

…so we share the beauty with people, and the mist swirls about and creates a perfect backdrop for them…

…and the snowy bridge becomes a place to dance.
Enjoy the beauty of winter.

Love your pictures, as always! Winter is so beautiful. We need some snow here for beauty.

gorgeous winter pics, sis! I miss snow and ice. Except I do love running trail in shorts in January here. Sigh - can't have it all, I guess.

snow, what a beauty. It is something I don't see very often living in Australia. You can still find snow if you drive up into the mountains, but not the beauty of walking down the road seeing the frost on the trees, or waking up to see freshly fallen snow out the bedroom window.
What beautiful photos!
